Reese Witherspoon Gets Candid On Finding Balance As A Working Mom: ‘I Was Deliriously Tired’

Reese Witherspoon is opening up about being a working mom in Hollywood. On Aug. 12, the Hello Sunshine exec posted a carousel of photos on Instagram, and each photo had a caption that reflected on a different element of her experience raising three kids while building her now-iconic career. “It looked really hard sometimes,” she captioned one of the throwback photos. “I’d cry working 14 to 17 hours, sometimes all night long and still woke up early for carpool. I was deliriously tired.” The “Big Little Lies” actress shares two kids with actor Ryan Phillippe: 25-year-old Ava and 21-year-old Deacon. Her youngest son, Tennessee James, 12, is from her most recent marriage to now-ex Jim Toth.
