Riley Keough Reflects On The Last Time She Saw Mom Lisa Marie Presley Before Her Death

Riley Keough is opening up about a bittersweet memory. The “Daisy Jones & The Six” star shared in a new interview with Vanity Fair published on Tuesday the last time she saw mom Lisa Marie Presley just days before the singer’s death. Lisa Marie passed away in January at just 54 years old, and Riley revealed that the two shared dinner after the 2023 Golden Globes. “”I remember thinking about how beautiful she looked, and that was my strongest memory of the dinner,” Riley said. The 34-year-old also gave insight into her own motherhood experience as a new mom to her first child, a baby girl, with husband Ben Smith-Petersen. Riley confirmed not only the little one’s name, Tupelo Storm Smith-Petersen, but also how it honors both her grandfather, Elvis Presley, and her late brother, Benjamin. The Emmy nominee explained that she and Ben welcomed their daughter via surrogate in August 2022 and how they came to the decision due to the actress’ Lyme Disease. “I think it’s a very cool, selfless, and incredible act that these women do to help other people,” she said. “I can carry children, but it felt like the best choice for what I had going on physically with the autoimmune stuff.”
