Robin Roberts Gets Candid About Partner Amber Laign’s Breast Cancer Battle: ‘You Feel So Helpless’

“Good Morning America” co-anchor and cancer survivor Robin Roberts opened up on air about her breast cancer diagnosis in 2007. Now, her longtime partner Amber Laign is battling the very same disease. “It’s so different this time … When it’s your loved one, you’re just on the sidelines, and you feel so helpless,” she tells Access Hollywood’s Scott Evans. The journalist added, “I can tell you, I have cried, I have been on my knees more about her diagnosis than I was about mine two combined.”
