Sabrina Carpenter is setting the record straight. The pop star appeared to respond to a video which claimed that she only sings less than half of the time while onstage during her “Short n’ Sweet” tour. “Hate to say it, but 30% lip [syncing], 30% backing track, 40% singing,” a user on TikTok wrote under a clip of Sabrina performing, to which the “Espresso” singer replied, “I sing live every show 100% would you like to speak to my audio engineers[?],” according to a screenshot of the interaction posted online.
