Simone Biles Wins Silver In Final Paris Olympics Event After Balance Beam Fall Costs Her A Medal
Simone Biles had two more opportunities to win medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics but is only adding one to her roster after a surprise fall. On Aug. 5, the iconic gymnast competed in the balance beam and floor finals. The 27-year-old had a tough day on the beam, falling off and losing a chance to make the podium. Biles went on to compete in the floor event and claimed silver after stepping out of bounds twice in her routine left her score The athlete took home a total of four medals, including three gold.
