Suni Lee got emotional after being named to the U.S. Olympic gymnastics team. On Sunday, June 30, The women’s team was named after two days of completion at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials. Lee, who stepped away from her college gymnastics career in 2023 following a kidney disease diagnosis, got emotional during a post-interview. “I was just reminded of my goals every day and constantly surrounded by people who never let me give up,” said the reigning Olympic all-around champion.
