The pop star took to X to praise Simone after her floor routine from the U.S. Olympic Team Gymnastics Trials on June 28 where the decorated gymnast used part of Taylor’s song, “…Ready For It.” “Watched this so many times and still unready,” the “Cruel Summer” singer wrote in response to a video displaying the Olympic champion’s routine, adding, “She’s ready for it tho.” Taylor also included several emojis: clapped hands, a gold medal, an American flag, and a heart. The final day of competition of the U.S. Olympic Team Trials begins tonight, June 30, at 7:30pm ET on NBC & Peacock.
