The 73-year-old had quintuple bypass surgery about a month ago and is now recovering, Taylor’s team confirmed to Access Hollywood on July 16. The pop star, her brother Austin and their mom Andrea, who has been married to Scott for 37 years, are said to have been by his side throughout the entire surgery and recovery process. TMZ was the first to report the news and a source told the outlet that the procedure was not a result of a heart attack. Instead, surgery was required after a doctor noticed something when Scott went in for a check-up that led to further investigation. The source told TMZ Scott is now feeling great.
