Tyler Perry Will Pay For Rayshard Brooks’ Funeral

Tyler Perry is doing his part to help the family of 27-seven-year-old Rayshard Brooks, a father of three who was fatally shot by police in Atlanta over the weekend. L. Chris Stewart, an attorney for the Brooks family, revealed in a June 15 press conference that the movie mogul had offered to foot the bill for Rayshard’s funeral. He told those watching, “We do want to acknowledge and thank Tyler Perry, who we spoke with and who will be taking care of the funeral for the family. It’s support like that and it’s people who are actually in this community – that love the community, that want healing and families like this to never have to go through something like this – to step forward. We want to thank him for such a generous move.”
