The “Dune: Part Two” star accepted Star of the Year honors at the 2023 CinemaCon Awards in Las Vegas on Thursday night and revealed how her connection to the “Spider-Man” franchise actually began on a romantic note long before she met boyfriend Tom Holland on set. “Literally my first date was when I was 15 years old and it was to go see ‘Spider-Man’ in 3D,” she recalled on stage, likely referring to the Andrew Garfield installment from 2012. “Now I consider myself honored to be able to buy a ticket and sneak into the back of one of your theaters, which I’ve done many times before, and watch my own.”
