Al Pacino Reveals Real Reason Why He Did ‘Jack & Jill’ and Starred Doing Commercials
Al Pacino is opening up about going broke late in life and how it impacted the films he chose to work on. The Oscar winner reveals in his recently published memoir “Sonny Boy” he lost $50 million after his corrupt accountant mismanaged his funds. After losing all of his money, Pacino was not as selective with his film choices, revealing the first film he did just for the paycheck. “‘Jack and Jill’ was the first film I made after I lost my money. To be honest, I did it because I didn’t have anything else. Adam Sandler wanted me, and they paid me a lot for it. So I went out and did it, and it helped,” the actors writes in his book.
