Beyoncé Drops ‘Break My Soul’ But Some Fans Are Angry That Big Freedia Didn’t Get Proper Credit

Beyoncé isn’t breaking souls, she’s saving them! Late Monday night, the Queen Bey released a new song called “Break My Soul.” The dance bop is the first offering from “Renaissance,” her seventh studio album, which is expected to be released on July 29. “Break My Soul” includes samples from Robin S’s 1993 hit “Show Me Love” and Big Freedia’s “Explode.” Some of the 40-year-old artists’ famous friends took to social media to share their excitement, including Tituss Burgess, Kim Kardashian and Zendaya.
