Britney Spears just got a major legal victory. On Thursday, her father, Jamie Spears, agreed to be removed as the conservator of her estate, according to court documents obtained by Access Hollywood. Despite agreeing to step back, Jamie continues to hold his long held claims that he would be the best choice as conservator to his daughter, according to the docs. In a response to Britney’s father stepping down, her lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, told Access via statement that they are pleased Jamie will be removed.
