BTS’ Jin Thanks ARMY For Support After Carrying Olympic Torch Ahead Of 2024 Paris Games
Jin of BTS just made a dynamic appearance at the Olympic Torch Relay! The music idol represented South Korea in the July 14 event ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics and had the entire crowd screaming as he walked past thousands of fans on his way to the Louvre Museum. The 31-year-old was rocking the official relay uniform and walked with the Olympic torch for about 10 minutes before he handed the torch off to French skier Sandra Laoura. The Olympic torch arrived in Paris on July 14 and will be integrated into the Bastille Day celebrations. The torch is planned to be carried through iconic locations in Paris, like La Place de La Concorde, Notre Dame, and more. And although Jin’s part in the relay went smooth like butter, he admitted he was a little nervous. “It was an honor to be part of such a meaningful moment. I was able to take on the honorable role of a torchbearer thanks to the support of ARMY. I am truly grateful. I was so nervous to the point of not knowing how the time passed, but I was able to do my best thanks to the many people on site who loudly cheered me on,” he shared in a press release. Jin’s big Olympic moment comes a month after he completed his military service in South Korea.
