Caeleb Dressel Gets Honest About Paris Olympics: ‘It Was Emotional and I Needed to Cry’
Access Hollywood’s Scott Evans spoke to Olympic swimmer Caeleb Dressel who earned two gold medals and one silver at the 2024 Paris games. He reacted to all the celebrity support including what it was like seeing Snoop Dogg holding his 6-month-old son August. Caeleb said, “The collab that I didn’t know I needed, Snoop Dogg at a swim meet at the Olympics holding my son, this sport has taken me to some great places and that is definitely one of them.” He also opened up about getting emotional over not medaling at two events in Paris, “I lost it, it was devastating, I was heartbroken, there’s not way around it. She gave me a hug and I couldn’t hold it in anymore. I knew I had a day off so I couldn’t keep it bottled up. It was devastating and I hope that would humanize the experience for athletes, there’s a lot of that goes on that’s not caught on camera.” Adding, “It was emotional and I needed to cry.” Caeleb also revealed the story behind his tattoos and revealed a secret one that he has inside his lip.
