Chris Daughtry Opens Up About Feeling ‘Guilt’ After Deaths Of Daughter & Mother: I ‘Beat Myself Up’

Chris Daughtry is getting candid about how he’s been processing the deaths of both his mother, Sandra, and his daughter, Hannah. The “American Idol” alum reflected on his grief journey during a visit to “The Kelly Clarkson Show” on Thursday. Chris said that when it comes to both heartbreaks, “the hardest thing and the common denominator in both is the guilt … There’s always going to be reminders of what you could’ve done or whatever, and I tend to beat myself up a lot over it.”
