Erin Bates Says She Doesn’t Have Function Of Right Leg After Sepsis Battle Following Childbirth

Erin Bates is counting her blessings as she returns home after developing serious complications following the birth of her seventh child. The 34-year-old gave a health update on her Instagram on Sept. 13, telling fans she is home with her kids after spending nearly three weeks in the hospital. “I have never been so thankful to finally head home to our babies,” she wrote in part. “We don’t have all the answers yet, and I still don’t have function in my right leg, but we are choosing to count every blessing,” she added. The update comes weeks after Erin and Chad welcomed their seventh child, Henry, on Aug. 25. The pair are also parents to daughters Finley, Holland, Everly and Brooklyn and sons William and Charles.
