A&E’s powerful new series “I Survived A Crime” tells the stories of real-life people who ended up being subjected to attacks, home invasions, robberies at gunpoint and more crimes. Host Gio Benitez tells Access Hollywood’s Sibley Scoles all about the terrifying tales and shares his own takeaway from interviewing such empowered survivors. “After some of these interviews, I have ended up crying because they are emotional interviews,” he shared. “When you’re watching them, but you also have so much hope.
