Kyle Richards Breaks Down In Tears Over Mauricio Umansky Split At BravoCon: ‘Not My Fairytale’

Kyle Richards is keeping it real about the emotional upheaval surrounding her struggling marriage. The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, 54, broke down in tears alongside her castmates while chatting with Access Hollywood’s Zuri Hall onstage at BravoCon 2023 in Las Vegas on Nov. 5, where she admitted that it’s been difficult navigating her and estranged husband Mauricio Umansky’s separation. “We love each other very much and we are family no matter what happens and have a very strong family unit,” she shared, noting that Mauricio “wasn’t around as much” during his recent time on “Dancing with the Stars” but they’ve been “trying to figure it out” while their children still live at home. “We know we love each other,” she said, admitting that the situation is “not my idea of my fairytale” and thanking fans for their support. Just one day earlier, Kyle told Access’ Emily Orozco on the red carpet that she’s focusing on self-care during this challenging time to prioritize her mental health. Kyle and Mauricio tied the knot in 1996 and share three daughters, Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15. Kyle is also mom to 35-year-old Farrah Aldjufrie from her first marriage. The couple first spoke out about their relationship status after split reports broke over the summer, sharing in a joint Instagram statement at the time that they weren’t divorcing but had gone through “a rough year,” calling it the “most challenging” time of their marriage.
