Laila Ali Reflects On Dad Muhammad Ali’s Disapproval Of Her Boxing Career

Laila Ali still keeps her dad close to her heart. The former professional boxer reflected on her relationship with her late father Muhammad Ali when she appeared on Access Daily with hosts Mario Lopez and Kit Hoover and recalled how her legendary pop apologized for not supporting her career in the ring. She said, “Now, that I’m older, I have kids, it just means something different with him not being here. I was like, wow, with what we’re going through right now in our world as women, like, I changed his mind… Imagine if I would have listened him ’cause he was putting a limit on me.” Laila also chatted about her new cookbook “Food for Life” and how she tricks her children into eating their veggies!
