Meghan Markle’s Letter To Estranged Father Thomas Markle ‘Safely In His Hands’ After Leg Amputation

After days of conflicting reports as to whether Meghan Markle was in contact with her ailing father, the Duchess of Sussex has managed to get a letter delivered to his bedside. On Dec. 10, a spokesperson for the duchess stated, “With the support of reliable and trusted contacts, her correspondence is now safely in his hands.” In recent days, Thomas Markle, who is currently recovering from a lower leg amputation in a Philippines hospital, had publicly questioned his daughter’s attempts to reach out to him. While the duchess’s team claimed Meghan had emailed her father on Friday Dec. 5 after learning of his operation, The Mail on Sunday reported Thomas was, “confused” because he had not received any communication.
