Prince Harry Believed Princess Diana Might Still Be Alive ‘For Many Years’: I ‘Refused To Accept’ It

Prince Harry says he held onto hope that Princess Diana was secretly still alive for “many years” after her passing. During an interview on “60 Minutes” about his forthcoming memoir “Spare,” the Duke of Sussex explained to Anderson Cooper that he once believed his mom hadn’t truly died. “I just refused to accept that she was gone. Part of [it was] she would never do this to us, but part of [it was] maybe this is all part of a plan,” he said, adding that he thought that she’d disappear “for a time and that she would call us and we would go and join her.”
