The monarch wore gloves to an investiture ceremony on Tuesday, reportedly the first time she’s done so in decades! The Queen opted for an above-the-wrist pair while honoring award recipients on March 3. Though Buckingham Palace declined to comment if the accessories were specifically intended as protection from COVID-19 or if she’s ever worn them to an event of this kind before, they could just be a typical fashion statement.
