Shawn Johnson Addresses Flying With Her Kids In Plane Co-Piloted By Her Husband: ‘I’m Not Nervous’

Shawn Johnson and her family are taking to the skies! The Olympic gymnast gave fans an inside look at a trip to Disney World with husband Andrew East and their two kids this week. The foursome traveled together in cozy quarters, boarding a plane Andrew co-piloted. Shawn shared a series of photos and videos from the flight and addressed in her Stories what she referred to as “a lot of questions” about their travel arrangement. “No I’m not nervous. I trust Andrew and he takes it very seriously,” she wrote in one post. “Our family rule is if kids are onboard or both of us (both parents), even though Andrew CAN fly us solo we always have a second pilot to be extra cautious.”
