On June 4, the couple joined “Today”’s “Jenna & Friends” for their first interview together in 5 years of dating. Van shared with Jenna Bush Hager that he has asked the Academy Award-winning actress to marry him, but she has complicated feelings about walking down the aisle again. “Well, I’ve been married three times,” she said “Van has been married once, and so no, we don’t feel like we have to get married to validate our love in any way. We don’t.”
