A source close to the situation confirmed to NBC News on Monday that the retired actress was placed on a 72-hour hold and “hasn’t been in contact with her family for quite some time.” According to TMZ, an eyewitness saw Bynes walking near downtown Los Angeles over the weekend without any clothes on. The outlet reports that Bynes flagged down a car and called 911 herself. The 36-year-old was reportedly unharmed. Access Hollywood has reached out to the LAPD and Bynes’ team for comment.
