Paris Jackson Shares Health Update On Her Neck After Fan Concern Led Her To Get Ultrasound

Paris Jackson is providing a health update amid fan concern about her neck. On Saturday, May 16, the model revealed in an Instagram story that she was undergoing an ultrasound after some fans commented about her neck’s appearance in a recent video posted to her profile. “Getting an ultrasound to check out my lymphs since y’all pointed out how weird my neck looked on my last post,” she wrote on top of the video story which showed her getting the procedure. The daughter of Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe explained in a follow up slide how she started to freak out over the online chatter and had someone come to her rehearsal studio to perform the ultrasound on her throat. She added that she recently went through blood tests which showed that her thyroid and lymph nodes levels were normal. “I think my neck just does weird s—t when I talk,” she said, additionally noting, “I think this is just my neck and y’all are like freaking me out. I’m thinking there’s something wrong. I’m trying to rehearse – I have a show at BottleRock in a week.” However, a day later, on Sunday, the actress shared a welcome update, reassuring her followers that she is ok. “So, the update is I have just the slightest amount of redness on my vocal cords but there’s no calluses from singing and also the reason my neck looks as weird as it does is because I have exercised those muscles from singing for so long. And that just happens with singers, it’s just a little bit more obvious in me because I’m skinny,” she said.
