‘Rust’ Script Supervisor Sues Alec Baldwin And Producers Over On-Set Shooting

In a new development in the ongoing “Rust” tragedy, attorney Gloria Allred has filed a lawsuit against Alec Baldwin and producers on behalf of script supervisor Mamie Mitchell, alleging assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Mitchell, who was the one to call 911, says she was standing close to Halyna Hutchins in the church when Baldwin pulled the trigger. At a press conference, she and Allred both spoke out about the incident and the new legal claims.
